We have a fantastic opportunity for a Sales Executive/Business Development Consultant to join a well-established company in Andover, Hampshire.
We are looking for an extremely organised, motivated and fun-loving person to work alongside a colleague in a similar role to improve the organisation’s market position and help the company achieve financial growth.
We ideally require an experienced Sales Executive/Marketing Executive/Business Development Manager. This team helps our customers find a solution to their individual care needs. They listen, empathise, and have the ability to see a solution rather than barriers and work hard to exceed customers’ expectations. Our sales leads are acquired through attraction marketing, so no cold calls are made. The Sales team need to have an excellent command of the English language, an exemplary telephone manner and be empathetic to customers, who often call in distress. The Sales Team is in essence ‘selling’ the company’s service which is to arrange Carers to ‘Live-in’ the homes of people in need.
Answering new business enquiries
Diarising call backs to help close a sale
Participate in developing strategic new business plans in line with company plans
Networking if beneficial
Attend industry functions, such as awards, conferences and exhibitions if beneficial
Identify opportunities for service channels that will lead to an increase in sales
Help Identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators
Execution of sales plans
Present weekly progress reports
Have knowledge of the market & our competitors at all times
Sales Executive – Business Development Experience/Skills/Qualifications:
• Ideally 5 years’ Sales/Business Development experience
• Strong Microsoft Office Skills
• Full Driving License
• Excellent Customer Service Skills
• Excellent Telephone manner and clear, spoken English
You must be a confident, persuasive, charming person, with an eye for new opportunities, and the ability to drive sales and increase revenue by developing new business opportunities. You must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be willing to learn, think outside the box and have excellent customer service skills, combined with an empathetic and calm manner to enable you to deal with clients.
