|Exciting opportunity for a Salesforce Developer to join the a large organisation based in either London or Manchester. We are looking for someone to take technical ownership of the Salesforce instance.
You will work with the in-house development team, external providers and the business stakeholders to make sure the platform and all integrations continue to meet the business requirements as the business grows and changes. You will be advising the business analysts and stakeholders on technical decisions, creating and updating technical designs, developing additional functionality, testing changes and deploying change sets.
This is an excellent opportunity to be involved in challenging and business changing projects in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for a candidate with a passion for technology, good communication skills and a pragmatic/hands-on attitude and at least 2 years hands-on experience in Salesforce development. Having completed at least one integration project in a development role would be beneficial to being considered for the role.
Develop solutions and write code to a high quality using best practice tools, techniques and methods.
Advice the business analysts, Head of Software Development and the business stakeholder on technical decisions on Salesforce.
Work directly with users and business analysts to finalise requirements and translate these into designs and/or application specifications.
Maintain extensive and consistent documentation for all projects and systems.
Be aware of all ongoing projects and provide support, guidance and administration as necessary.
To assist in deployments and updates of business applications, potentially outside business hours where necessary.
To be available to occasionally travel to other office locations.
Standard working hours Monday to Friday 9.00am – 5.30pm
Knowledge, Skills, Experience
Configuring and developing the Salesforce Platform & Sales Cloud
Strong knowledge of APEX and APEX design patterns and visualforce
Experience with full lifecycle development – requirements, design, testing, documentation, implementation and support
Experience working iProblem solving – resourceful in their ability to locate and solve a problem quickly
Advocate of best practices, design principles and development methodologies
Critical thinker and good communicator
Collaborative attitude and accurate time management
Capability to work under pressure while observing high quality standards
Experience with Salesforce DX
Experience with REST/SOAP
Knowledge of any other programming language
Flexible - London (Blackfriars), Manchester or Nelson
