If you are looking for aviation sales jobs, we have an exciting opportunity for an account manager. The role will join a well-established client in Reading. The salary is £60,000 + up to £60,000 bonus – Total OTE £120000. This role offers hybrid working – 3 days per week onsite 2 remotely, however flexibility will be needed when required.
The role is primarily new customer sales; the ideal candidate has tenure and specific credibility in developing accounts, key relationships, and solutioning services while closing sales.
A key component of this role will be selling IT Services into aviation companies, and previous experience is key; however, general managed services sales skills will be cross-compatible.
This role will suit a candidate who can leverage key relationships and consult but is focused on service value.
Firstly, must have strong commercial skills.
Secondly, have excellent communicator across all levels
Also, be a positive influencer who readily motivates and inspires others.
Likewise, ability to work independently.
Sales and delivery-focused.
Able to work to deadlines.
Self-starter who uses knowledge and experience to progress and improve.
Strong problem-solving skills as well as the ability to Analyse and understands contractual documentation and specifications.
ITIL Foundation
Relevant IT/Management qualification at BTEC HNC or higher. Alternatively, equivalent industry experience.
Excellent knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and other office applications.
Experience working within a small to medium sized Managed service provider
Lead gen tools and admin support
Also, demonstrable / detailed examples of key achievements / targets, supported by tenure in company or sales cycle process knowledge
Examples of customers penetrated / sales success stories
Experience with selling IT Managed Services into Aviation companies
Proven customer relationship skills with the ability to provide a high level of customer service
Lastly, background in consultative selling
