Key Responsibilities

Strategic planning

Firstly, leads the development of Configuration & Change Management (CM2) policies, standards and guidelines for strategy development and planning.

Secondly, develops and communicates plans to drive forward this CM2 strategy.

Furthermore, emerging technology monitoring

Supports monitoring of the external IT environment and assessment of emerging technologies.

Requirements definition and management

Defines and manages scoping, requirements definition and prioritisation activities for initiatives of medium size and complexity.

Contributes to selecting the requirements approach.

Establishes requirements baselines,

Configuration management

Leads on Configuration Management projects and activities ensuring the correct governance mechanisms and reporting is in place.

Responsible for the common data model essential for the discovery and management of configuration items (CIs).

Finally, establishes operational processes for secure configuration, classification and management of Configuration Items CIs.

Change control

Firstly, must lead Change Management projects and activities ensuring the correct governance mechanisms and reporting is in place.

Secondly, lead the team responsible for the assessment, analysis, development, documentation and implementation of changes.

Furthermore, lead the developments of implementation plans for complex requests for change

IT Service Change Management

Analyses and presents the potential risks to IT service changes.

Also, designs approaches and templates for the implementation and review of IT service changes. Directs and monitors the implementation of IT service changes and procedures.

System Development Life Cycle

Clarifies the similarities and differences among life cycles;

Likewise, explains the basic concepts of a structured approach to application development.

Also, describes associated standards, procedures and guidelines for the system development life cycle.

Technical skills needed

Firstly, bachelor Degree in a related domain, plus 3 years of experience in a related domain

Secondly, experience of 3 years in managing change request, from initiation to closure

Likewise, experience in leading small team

Also, ITIL foundation certification

Working in international environment

Lastly, knowledge of Nato organization
