A SNAPSHOT OF WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Cloud Engineer. This role is for someone who has proven commercial experience managing both web and function applications within the Azure environment. The Cloud Engineer role is responsible for configuring, monitoring, and maintaining the cloud infrastructure. This is used to support the delivery of the customer Services products, applications, and services.

The role of the Cloud Engineer is to work with our internal support teams, third-party suppliers, and other company teams. This is to achieve high levels of security, availability, reliability, and supporting systems. This all leads to continuous improvement. You will also help to mentor and coach the service desk team to achieve Azure competencies and accreditations.

Some key aspects of the role:
Provide support on Microsoft Azure platforms.
Configure and monitor Azure Services. For example, Azure Service Bus, Active Directory, App Services, Azure SQL, Azure Storage.
Prepare and maintain documents in support of the cloud infrastructure.
Create and manage the change processes in line with policy and process.
Monitor and ensure environments meet contractual needs.
Finally, provide monthly reports to support availability and performance.

IDEALLY, WE ARE LOOKING FOR THE BELOW KEY SKILLS AND WORKING KNOWLEDGE:

To be successful you need to show an expert working knowledge of the following:
Support on Microsoft Azure Platforms.
Good understanding of Configuring web and function apps.
Working knowledge of Azure Front door and WAF Policies.
Must have AZ 104 current certification.
Knowledge of how to configure and monitor API Manager and Azure SQL.
Expert in Application insights configuration, monitoring, and Azure Service Bus.
