M365 Administrator Expert cloud engineering role! Certification required!
3rd Line M365 & Cloud Engineer
Hybrid working, 2 days on-site. Site options are London, Peterborough, or Manchester.
Contract – Inside IR35, via umbrella. Min 6 months.
Rate: £450 – £525 DOE
3rd Line M365 and Cloud Engineering role.
You will respond to BAU 3rd Line incidents logged on the incident management system. This is to ensure incidents are resolved within SLA and providing help and support to the team. Assist in new Project Work and New Customer transitions into the business.
Firstly, provide a point of technical escalation, expertise, and mentoring for 2nd Line Engineers.
Secondly, act as a role model and assist fellow Team members and Service Desk Analysts as required.
Ensure all solutions are supported with documents, training, and expertise within the Service Desk and Support areas.
Also, escalate potential service issues with Team Leader, Service Desk Managers, and Service Delivery Managers.
Recommend and deploy changes via the change management process when required.
Also, maintain and develop knowledge and skills. This is through client contact, industry sources, training, and development plans. Work with consultants to better understand issues and resolutions.
Knowledge and experience:
Firstly, 3 years to 5 years of experience in a similar SLA-driven support role.
Secondly, proven Customer service Skills.
Also, experience delivering projects and complex changes.
Microsoft 365 Administration at a expert level
Industry-recognised qualifications in relevant areas.
Microsoft Cloud and 365 Admin
Exchange online using Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive
Administration – Conditional Access, Security, and Compliance Policies
Microsoft Endpoint Device Management
Azure Active Directory and Identity Management
AD Connect, ADFS, WAP, PTA, MFA
Virtual Machines, VNET, Storage Accounts
Azure Virtual Desktop
Backup, ASR, ANF
Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019
Active Directory (Core AD Services, DNS, DHCP, GPO, AD Replication)
Powershell and scripting
Security Clearance (SC) is an advantage.
Experience in ITIL best practices
Ideally, hold an ITIL Foundation certificate.
Firstly, good verbal and written skills.
Secondly, must be on time and reliable.
Also, be positive, and support the team.
Take ownership of and progress incidents to resolution. Identify when escalation is needed.
Must work well under pressure.
Ability to work in a team and support team members.
Be aware of internal and external issues.
Finally, improve and grow your own skills and knowledge base. This is in relevant technology to pass industry standard certifications.
