GTS’s Deployment Engineer Jobs, We have an exciting IT Contract for a London Desktop Support Engineer. 12-month contract but this may be extended.

This is a site-based contract role and is inside IR35. As a result, this role is suited to umbrella contractors only.

A SNAPSHOT OF WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Providing support for installing and configurating IT assets in shops
Supporting and setting up of IT assets including POS, Thin clients, desktops, laptops, printers, Label printers, Scanners, and IT peripherals
Travelling to Retail shops as and when required
Working on new Shop Openings, Shop refurbishments, Shop relocations and closures
Co-ordinate with vendors for hardware and Links installations and provisioning
Providing support for Project Managers, Business managers, and respective technical support teams
Co-ordinate with Service Desk, Operations Managers and Tower Leads for issue resolution and service requests
Floor support during and post Shop go-live
Maintain and report hardware asset stock

IDEALLY, WE ARE LOOKING FOR THE BELOW KEY SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES:

Experience in supporting mobile devices (iPads, iPhones, etc.) and MDM
Knowledge of Networking, Wi-Fi, VPN, and Links
Working experience in Microsoft technologies Windows 7 & 10 and O365, MS Teams
Experience in supporting performance and client-related issues resolutions
Good understanding of Asset management
