Desktop support engineer
We have an exciting opportunity for a Desktop support engineer, with good experience of Office365 and Citrix Migration. You should be technically sound in O365 & Citrix.
Initially, this is for a 6 month contract job. However, it may be extended.
Working as a Desktop Support Engineer, you will provide and maintain service continuity for the customer. Above all, you will resolve any technical issues.
Minimum of 5 years experience in EUC support, principally at a customer site.
Ability to remotely troubleshoot.
Experience with online ticketing systems, such as ServiceNow.
Inventory Management capability and experience.
Importantly, able to work independently.
EXCELLENT customer service skills.
IT qualifications, such as Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA would be an advantage.
Desktop, Laptop, Thin Client, as well as POS.
Printer and printer servers. For instance: Konica MFP, HP Network, OKI Dot Matrix, Boca Ticket.
Routers and Modems, such as Aruba, Draytek, 4G.
WiFi, in particular, Aruba.
Video conferencing systems
Microsoft Software and Applications such as Windows 10, Server OS and Office365.
OS and application deployment, using SCCM.
