Desktop Support engineer – Fluent in English & Portuguese

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Desktop Support engineer to join well established blue chip organisation based in Lisbon

**All candidates must be fluent in both English and Portuguese and have a valid driving licence**

As a Desktop support Engineer you will have :

A snapshot of what you will be doing:
• Respond to customer incidents and service requests and manage through to a successful resolution
• Deliver desk-side support services to the customer
• Deliver hard and soft break fix services for laptops and desktops across the site
• Provide standard and approved hardware and software support and maintenance on desktop devices
• Support, manage and maintain the configuration and installation of desktops, including patch updates and hardware replacements

What are we looking for?
• At least 2-3 years’ experience of working onsite providing Desktop Support including Mac Skills
• Able to demonstrate strong working knowledge of ITIL Service management framework
• Ability to work under pressure
• Excellent customer service skills, Portuguese and English speaker
• Good knowledge and experience in Microsoft Desktop Software and Operating Systems
• An understanding of network protocols, server hardware and configurations or other IT qualifications
• Ability to lift / move computer equipment weighing up to 50Lbs.
• Driving licence is required
• A strong knowledge of Linux is highly desirable and will be prioritised

This role will be working a 9-hour day (including 1 hour for lunch) in a Monday – Friday 8am-5pm
