Desktop Support Engineer
GTS has an exciting opportunity for a Desktop Support Engineer to join a well-established organisation in London on an initial 2-month contract.
This role is inside IR35 – umbrella contractors only – Onsite Desktop Support Engineer
Firstly, you will provide 2nd Level Deskside support, assisting users with service requests and incidents.
This may include hardware break-fix as well as software support.
You will require the ability to support IT teams and users to troubleshoot the cause of any incidents.
Secondly, you will conduct and manage iMacs, both hardware and software.
Additionally, you will support remote technical teams with the use of Hands & Eyes support.
Weekend support as required/requested.
Experience within desktop support, as well as skills in network fault troubleshooting.
Sound knowledge of software, hardware, networks, as well as peripherals.
Excellent English and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to support bespoke applications.
Above all, able to work with minimum supervision.
Excellent written and verbal communicator.
