We have an exciting opportunity for a Desktop Support Team Leader to join a blue chip organisation in Crawley.

Initial 3 month contract role but this is likely to extend. This role is based onsite in Crawley and is inside IR35, therefore, only suitable for umbrella contractors.

The package is:

Between £200-£220 a day.

A SNAPSHOT OF WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

The Desktop Support Team Leader is responsible for managing the desktop engineers. A crucial part of this role is making sure  customers’ SLA are met.

The Desktop Support Team Leader provides leadership and mentoring to the desktop engineers and drives a culture of continual process improvement within the team.

IDEALLY, WE ARE LOOKING FOR THE BELOW SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND ATTRIBUTES:

Firstly, proven track record in managing desktop engineers. Secondly, Excellent problem-solving skills and an analytical thinker. Furthermore, great communication skills and self-motivation and good attention to detail with a passion for technology. Excellent team building skills with a flexible approach.

Most importantly, good knowledge of installation, configuration, administration, patching, upgrades and problem resolution in a range of the technologies including: Microsoft Windows Environments Win7, 10, 11 and Active Directory, DNS and DHCP services, Configuration Management (SCCM), Microsoft Exchange 2010, 2016, Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft365.

Furthermore, understand Core network principles, End User software installs and software lifecycle management.
Manger Print services and Audio/Visual/Meeting environments will also be desirable for this role.
Must understand future technologies, and how technologies could be utilized to increase automation and productivity.

Finally, Degree qualification in an IT related subject. Alternatively, work experience in CompTia A+, CompTia Network+. Microsoft Certifications & Accreditations or ITIL v3 will also be helpful for this role.
