A SNAPSHOT OF WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Firstly, source and engage new suppliers on an individual country basis.
Provide cost-effective resilience and coverage across regional operations.
Lead and manage the full Supply Chain Management lifecycle.
Negotiate business engagement terms (including MSA, SOW, SSA’s, and CCN) that are compliant with all the appropriate contractual obligations, including legislation, and end-customer requirements.
In addition, negotiate and agree on rate cards and SLAs with multiple existing and new suppliers on an individual country basis.
Ensure contracts are correctly maintained through the management system.
Create Regional Strategic Partnerships through assessment of supplier coverage, capability, capacity, cost competitiveness, benchmarking, quality, and performance to deliver a best-in-class supply chain to support clients.
Review and negotiate the supplier rate cards on a regular basis to ensure that our clients remain competitive in the market.
Update and maintain the supplier rate cards in the supplier management systems in a timely manner to ensure the business has up-to-date accurate pricing information.
Additionally, assist the sales team with all pricing and benchmarking requests to win new business or improve the margin on existing opportunities.
Develop strong relationships with key internal stakeholders.
Aim to understand the current and future commercial and service requirements to ensure these are aligned to the client’s Supply Base.

Additionally

Conduct and document quarterly business reviews with the client’s strategic partners.
Assist the internal teams on re-occurring issues with suppliers within region until satisfactory resolution is provided and delivered.
Manage business escalations for supplier contract and pricing issues and assist in resolving in a timely manner.
Ensure suppliers invoice in accordance with the contractual terms and assist finance team in resolving queries in a timely manner.
Deliver tangible year-on-year cost savings to the business through effective, strategic sourcing, partner utilisation, and negotiation.
Provide ideas and recommendations to the business on cost efficiencies, avoidance, and other potential improvements within the Supply Chain process.

IDEALLY, WE ARE LOOKING FOR THE BELOW KEY SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND ATTRIBUTES:

At least 5 years of experience in supplier relationship management that provisions skilled resources and services derived from the deployment of the skilled resource.
Experience in working in a matrix organisation, spanning geographical and functional boundaries.
Strong understanding of complex commercial requirements and multiple stakeholder engagements.
Proven record of accomplishment in delivering cost reductions.
Ability to analyse data and provide suggestions for change.
Strong influencing and negotiation skills, as well as computer skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
