The salary is from £32,000 to £34,000.

The location is Aldershot. Hybrid working, 3 days from the office and 2 remote.

One of GTS’s new Finance Analyst Jobs is based in Aldershot. This is a fast-growing business, focused on providing IT Services across the UK and Ireland. We are looking for a motivated Finance Analyst to join our friendly team. This Finance Analyst needs to help the company’s operations continue to work as smartly as possible.

With an annual turnover of around $40m, the analyst will account for payroll and third-party spending of approximately $20m a year. This is across several vendors and processes. They will report directly to the UK&I Finance Manager.

We’re looking for a Finance Analyst that will drive and deliver financial success.

The role is hybrid with the ideal candidate willing to travel when required to the Head office based in Aldershot 3 times a week.

Responsibilities:

Hold regular finance reviews and present on financial performance.
Perform analysis on P&L.
Act as the deputy for the UK&I Finance Manager, providing critical and trusted support.
Perform month-end close tasks. This includes preparing and posting journals into SAP, monthly cost allocations, accruals, and prepayments.
Assist in the completion of regular FP&A requirements. This includes monthly forecasting and annual budgeting.
Liaise with Procurement and business managers to ensure timely recognition of costs.
Work with operational managers to ensure you maintain profitability of customer accounts.
Work on finance and business projects as allocated by the UK&I Finance Manager.
Take part in Finance system and process improvements.

Essential skills and personal qualities:

Minimum part qualification in CIMA/ACCA or equivalent with a drive to continue studies.
The ability to show problem-solving ability.
Highly analytical and detail-oriented, you possess a strong business sense.
You have the ability to develop new ideas and solutions.
Good with Excel; you have the ability to implement pivots and lookups, and are able to write formulas.
You must be organised and able to meet deadlines.
Proven communication and presentation skills.
You must hold a UK Driving license.

Desired skills:

2 years of experience in a similar role.
Must have good MS Excel skills.
Must understand macros and the ability to write VBA/macros in MS Excel.
Working knowledge of SAP, or other ERP systems and dealing with large amounts of data.
