We have an exciting job opportunity for an HR Business Partner to join a blue-chip organisation in Basingstoke on an initial 3-6 month contract basis with extensions likely and potential permanent opportunities.

**Role is inside IR35 – Umbrella contractors only**

Key Tasks

• Manage grievance and disciplinary issues, probation etc. full spectrum of ER.
• Assist Line Managers with Long term and Short term Sickness cases, occupational Health referrals etc.
• Be an escalation point for HR ticket resolutions. Provide guidance and support to the administrative team on all ticket responses
• Liaise with payroll when necessary, on employee-related topics concerning pay
• Provide ad hoc support to Lead HR Manager
• Ensure communication to employees is aligned with our culture, ethos and our drive for engagement.
• Provide ad hoc reports as requested

Key Experience, competencies, and abilities

Demonstrable skills and knowledge in Employee Relations
Effective team working and can-do attitude
Ability to use initiative and work autonomously
Effective time manager, able to manage projects within deadlines
Excellent prioritising skills, with the ability to provide an effective service under pressure
Ability to engage and influence managers of all levels
Tactful and clear communicator, understanding diplomacy and confidentiality
Excellent verbal and written presentation skills
Good numerical skills and ability to utilise Excel effectively
Can-do attitude, teamwork and communication attributes are very important
