Infrastructure Support, Server Management, third line support contract role

This IT Infrastructure Support role is inside IR35 and is located in Bristol.
The working hours are 7.5 a day.
SC security is required.
The day rate is £450-£500 per day.

A SNAPSHOT OF WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN THIS IT CONTRACT ROLE:

Firstly, provide a good quality 3rd Line experience for all internal and external customers. Engage with our key suppliers and aid functions. This role is important in the continued development of IT Services.  This post will also include troubleshooting on all-aided platforms.

Also, this IT contract job requires day-to-day control of the infrastructure environment. This includes Daily Health Checks and Backup checks. Also includes server storage configuration, management, and administration tasks. But, also assist the application teams with application development and License certifications. Windows, Hardware faults (HP & DELL), and the replacement of faulted SAN disks are also part of this job. Finally, you will be working with on-site 3rd parties, to maintain an integrated result.

IDEALLY, WE ARE LOOKING FOR THE BELOW KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Firstly, skilled in Windows Server 2012.
But working knowledge of VMware /HA Clusters is also important.
Also, Storage – EMC VNX Unified SAN would be a benefit.
Most of all, a good understanding of server and storage hardware and software.
Working knowledge of Microsoft SCCM, SCOM, HPE ProLiant, and Dell PowerEdge.
Hands-on experience in L2, L3 Operations and troubleshooting is needed.
Must be able tovontrol, monitor, and troubleshoot operational issues.
Linux and License Applications working knowledge.
Also, be able to create and update technical documents.
SAN Switch and storage knowledge would be helpful.
Finally, 1-year of experience working in a secure Data Centre.
