IT Deployment Engineer Jobs

If you are interested in IT Deployment Engineer jobs, GTS has an exciting IT Contract for a Deployment Engineer. This is a 2 week contract but this may be extended. The role is based in London, Luton and the day rate is between £130 and £140. The working hours are standard office hours
This is a site-based contract role and is inside IR35. As a result, this role is suited to umbrella contractors only.

Overview of tasks:

Firstly, providing support for installing and configuring IT assets
Secondly, support and set up of IT assets including POS, Thin clients, desktops, laptops, printers, Label printers, Scanners, and IT peripherals
Co-ordinate with Service Desk, Operations Managers and Tower Leads for issue resolution and service requests
Also, maintain and report hardware asset stock

Key Skills and Experience needed:

Firstly, deployment of Windows laptop
Secondly, unbox new laptops
Record asset details
Likewise, upload MAC address into Intune
Also, run out of box experience for self – deploy
Lastly, first user setup and deploy to user onsite
