GTS’s IT jobs Reading has a great SC cleared application administrator (ServiceNow) opportunity.  Holding SC or DV clearance is a must for this opportunity. This role will join the team responsible for day to day support of various applications that generally sit in the Service Management and Monitoring space. A large part of this role will be within the ServiceNow platform but the successful candidate must be flexible to take on tasks across the whole portfolio of applications that the team supports. The salary is up to £55k.

This is an on site role with the flexibility to work remotely as and when the role allows and at the discretion of the team lead.

IT Jobs reading role overview:

Firstly, Monitoring of the teams work queues

Secondly, resolution of Incidents related to the applications the team supports or escalation to relevant parties

Likewise, completion of Service Requests  for example, User access requests, Group creation, Reporting, Core data requests and Data analysis

Also, build/maintenance of ServiceNow service catalog items and workflows in ITSM and CSM modules

Furthermore, build of ServiceNow HR Service items and Lifecycle events

Deputise for and assist the Service Catalog Manager

Partake in projects where required

Lastly, preparation of work instruction documentation as necessary

ESSENTIALS SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Firstly, experience of administering the applications the team supports is not essential (training will be provided) however the candidate should have:

Secondly, working experience in an IT Service Management environment

Likewise, experience of the ServiceNow platform from a user perspective

Knowledge of ITIL principles

A desire to learn and develop skills on the applications the team supports

Most importantly, fast self-learner with an ability to get up-to-speed in a short space of time

Lastly, good and confident communication skills with the ability to communicate in a non-technical manner

DESIRABLE SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience administering ServiceNow and building/configuring ServiceNow service catalog items

A basic knowledge of scripting (preferably JavaScript)

Experience of ServiceNow CMS and/or HRSD applications

Experience in any of the following applications:

Riverbed Aternity, Dynatrace, SCOM, HP Managed Print and TriplePlay Digital Signage systems
