We have an exciting opportunity with an established organisation for a IT Support Shift Analyst. This is based on site at Preston.

Due to the nature of the client’s business, the successful candidate will need to be able to obtain SC Security Clearance. Can start with BPSS. For this reason, we are only able to progress with applications from British nationals.

This is a full-time role working 12-hour shifts, (7am – 7pm, 7pm – 7am), this includes a 4 on, 4 off working pattern.

Working as a IT Support Shift Analyst, you will be part of an IT service delivery command centre team, which comprises of level 2 support capabilities. As a result, you will be  responsible for delivering managed service solutions. You will lead day to day IT processes for managing Events, Incidents, Changes as well as Problems within the command centre.

A SNAPSHOT OF WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Firstly, you will be the primary escalation point for all support groups within the command centre.
Secondly, you will prioritise and Manage ServiceNow tickets based on workload so to ensure contractual SLA’s are met. In addition, you will ensure that tickets are updated and, importantly that customers are updated on progress
Thirdly, you will lead the creation of product support lifecycles, resulting in  change scheduled for supported applications.
Crucially, you will facilitate continuous Service improvement within the team.
In addition, you will provide Management reports for both internal and customer stakeholders.
Lastly, you will support the Major Incident Management team by leading the technical support groups.
