GTS’s Jobs Dublin. We are looking for a customer focused Team Lead, to work within the Digital Site Services team.

The Technical Team Lead is responsible for a small team of engineers based in Grangecastle and Dublin City Centre.

The team is made up of on-site engineers. The Engineers handle deskside and infrastructure support Level 2 tickets.

There will be some travel included to other sites within Ireland to meet other teams and management.

The right candidate will be technically competent with experience working in an ITIL environment. Also, have experience in leading a team of level 2 or level 3 support technical support staff. Lastly, have a proven track recording in delivering IT projects.

Needed for this role:

Excellent understanding of  Win10 systems in a corporate environment.                                                            Knowledge of desktop and infrastructure support, including ITIL environments.
Must be able to handle escalations in a calm and professional manner.
Be able to work with Engineering teams and third parties to deliver automation activities.
Ensure standards are maintained in line with the operational support model.
Must maintain training and be compliant with local site policy and procedures.
Excellent communication skills.
Be able to support switches, servers, and patching.
Deliver reports and turn numbers into meaningful data.
Must work well under pressure.
Be able to follow technology processes and procedures and deliver implementations.
Experience in leading support teams, or engineering projects.
Good troubleshooting and Analytical skills. Also, be an excellent multi-tasker.
Be able to support and troubleshoot MS office applications.
Understand Schedule and Resource planning tools.
Follow company procedures. Be good at People and Time Management.

Desirable:

Medical equipment interfacing experience.
Industrial or lab background.
