The Control Room Manager/ Helpdesk Manage is a permanent role working for a blue chip company based in Bristol, Avon.

Firstly,  the Control Room Manager is responsible for overseeing a busy CAT II Alarm Receiving Centre, managing the controllers and call handlers. Secondly, a key part of this role is liaising with other departments to make sure the operation runs smoothly. The working schedule is 4 days daytime roster on a 12-hour shift.

Our client works with all aspects of security from CCTV alarms to a call desk working with all departments.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Firstly, working on the telephone, receiving calls from customers, installers, and internal customers.
Also, prioritising jobs and dispatching resources to attend incidents throughout the UK.

Working with other companies to make sure jobs are completed efficiently whilst keeping the customers and staff safe.

Reporting to the Senior Management Team, including preparing reports, control room staff training, and liaising with the HR and Accounts team to ensure the Control Room is running profitably and the staff is supervised in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Experience and Skills needed for this role

Firstly, experience as a Supervisor within a Control Room would but no essential
Secondly, have a good understanding of control room/contact centre/helpdesk environments
Able to build control room rotas with other department managers and supervise
control room staff
Also, must have good telephone, administrative, organisational and IT skills
We are looking for a calm and professional approach
Ideally, have a proven track record of managing alarms.
Finally, training team experience

Due to working requirements, candidates will need a valid driving licence and their own transport

Experience of updating company policies and processes
