GTS’s Jobs in Elgin has a great contract role for a PC Engineer.

GTS has an exciting IT Contract for a PC Engineer in Elgin, Scotland. This is on a 1 to 2 month contract but this may be extended. This role has a day rate of £160.

This is a site-based contract role and is inside IR35. As a result, this role is suited to umbrella contractors only.

Contractors will be required to have a valid DBS certificate.

Job Tasks:

Firstly, provide support for installing and configuring IT assets.
Support and set up of IT assets. This includes POS, Thin clients, desktops, laptops, printers, Label printers, Scanners, and IT peripherals.
Co-ordinate with Service Desk, Operations Managers and Tower Leads for issue resolution and service requests.
Also, maintain and report hardware asset stock.

Key Skills and Experience needed:

Firstly, 6 Months IT Experience in role OR equivalent qualifications.
Experience in supporting mobile devices, including iPads, iPhones, etc, and MDM.
Have a good working knowledge of Networking, Wi-Fi, VPN, and Links.
Also, have a good working knowledge of Microsoft technologies. This includes Windows 7 and 10 and O365, and MS Teams.
Experience in the support of performance and client-related issues resolutions.
Finally, have a good understanding of Asset management.
