Junior Desktop Support Engineer / IT Technician

GTS’s Jobs in Heanor. We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Desktop Support Engineer / IT Technician to join a blue-chip organisation in Heanor, Derbyshire.
This role is on an initial one-month contract, with a rate of £210 per day.

Responsibilities for this role:

Firstly, perform kt with incumbent engineers. This is by assisting with the completion of process documentation etc.
Management of Ticket queue for the site as the sole engineer.
Ticketed work to include troubleshooting windows devices and mobile phones.
Also, ticketed work on Microsoft Office 365 and other standard software.
Furthermore, IMAC, imaging, and configuration.
Finally, the maintenance of the asset database.

Key Experience and Skills Needed:

Firstly, some previous experience in an IT Role is required, from 6 months plus.
Be a good communicator.
Good standard of verbal and written English skills.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Work well under pressure and adapt to change.
Finally, the ability to work alone and as a member of a team.
