This is a full-time position based in Ipswich. You will be working a 37.5-hour week (8 hours per day) between the hours of 08:30 and 16:30. The salary is up to £33,120 per annum.

The Deskside Support Engineer overview:

Firstly, ServiceNow ticket management.
All related issues involving Microsoft Windows operating system.
Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus 2019 – all related issues.
Standard and non-standard software-related issues.
SLA-focused, with proactive support in the form of knowledgebase articles and user training.
Also, AD Management.
Front End SCCM SW deployment issues.
Experience with Smartphones and Portable Devices for SIM configuration.
Meeting room management including Video and Audio Equipment.
Servers under Local Support.
Network cabling and port patching. Also, Wi-Fi network and replacement of router.
Also, document and assess management.
Manage resource allocation and planning.
Finally, assist with HR-related functions.

Experience and Skills needed for this role:

Firstly, knowledge of current and past Microsoft windows operating systems.
Basic knowledge of Mac OS platforms.
Also, working knowledge of Microsoft 365. This includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive, and Intune.
Experience in Windows imaging techniques (Network and Local).
Microsoft Active Directory and Azure Active Directory knowledge.
Remote desktop support tools.
Desktop and printer configurations.
Excellent communication skills.
Must be able to work on one’s own and as part of a team.
Experience in IT, PCs, peripherals, and their architecture.
Furthermore, Break-fix, iMacs, Incidents, and Projects.
Experience with Ticket Management.
Comfortable with liaising as well as working with 3rd Parties.
Finally, display flexibility and the ability to manage your day.
