SC Cleared Deployment Engineer 5012aa

One of GTS new jobs in Newport. We have an exciting opportunity for an sc cleared deployment engineer to join a blue chip organisation on an initial 5-month contract in Newport.

This is a site-based contract role and is inside IR35. As a result, this role is suited to umbrella contractors only.

Contractors will need to have a valid SC Clearance to be suitable for this role.

A SNAPSHOT OF WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Firstly, provide support for installing and configuring IT assets.
Supporting and setting up IT assets including POS, Thin clients, desktops, laptops, printers, Label printers, Scanners, and IT peripherals.
Communicate with Service Desk, Operations Managers and Tower Leads for issue resolution and service requests.
Finally, maintain and report hardware asset stock.

IDEALLY, WE ARE LOOKING FOR THE BELOW KEY SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND ATTRIBUTES:

Firstly, experience in supporting mobile devices (iPads, iPhones, etc.) and MDM.
Furthermore, have a good knowledge of Networking, Wi-Fi, VPN, and Links.
Working experience in Microsoft technologies Windows 7 and 10 and O365, MS Teams.
Also, have experience in supporting performance and client-related issues resolutions.
Finally, a good understanding of Asset management.
