Jobs in Portsmouth UK. This is a great contract SC Cleared Deployment engineer role in a blue chip company. 5 month contract.

Position is working Monday to Friday and is based on site in Portsmouth. This role is inside IR35. As a result, this role is suited to umbrella contractors only.

SC Clearance is needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Firstly, provide support for installing and configuring IT assets
Also, support and set up IT assets including POS, Thin clients, desktops, laptops, printers, Label printersand Scanners
Furthermore, work with the Service Desk, Operations Managers and Tower Leads to resolve issues and service requests
Finally, maintain and report on hardware asset stock

KEY SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES NEEDED:

Firstly, experience in supporting mobile devices (iPads, iPhones, etc.) and MDM
Secondly, good communication skills and also a team player.
Must have knowledge of Networking, Wi-Fi, VPN, and Links
Also, Microsoft technologies Windows 7 & 10 and O365, MS Teams working knowledge
Experience in supporting performance and client-related issues resolutions
Furthermore, excellent understanding of Asset management
Finally, experience with Ticket Management.
