We have some exciting Jobs Marlow opportunities. This role is for a contract Desktop Support Engineer. This role is to join our client on an initial 2 month contract in Marlow.

Role: Desktop Support
Location: Marlow – Site based
Rate: 200 – 210 per day
Hours: Monday to Friday Office Hours

Role inside IR35  and is only suitable for  umbrella contractors.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Firstly, Non-Warranty Hardware Repair
Secondly, Warranty Repair and Management
Furthermore, PC lifecycle and Asset Management for Serialized Devices
Also, look after installations, moves, and changes for Serialized Devices
Likewise, cover Deskside Software Support
Smart Hands Support
VIP Support
Conferencing Support
Lastly, look after Event Support

Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required:

Firstly, must be detail-oriented, able to handle a variety of tasks in an efficient, accurate manner within deadlines.
Secondly, demonstrate strong customer service skills – as well as the ability to communicate professionally with a sense of urgency and empathy to the affected user.
Also, must possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills (in English).
Likewise, must learn quickly and acquire expertise in client’s custom applications.
Self-starter, strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload — someone who is energized by helping people and making things happen.
Excellent understanding of technology and the role of the “client” in relation to the larger IT infrastructure.
Be a Team player who strives to maximize team performance.
Must be detail-oriented and able to handle a variety of tasks.
Also, be efficient, accurate and meet deadlines.
Demonstrate strong customer service skills – as well as the ability to communicate professionally with a sense of urgency and empathy to the affected user
Knowledge of Service Now preferred — experience with similar ticket-tracking/request system workflow tool considered.
This role will be expected to handle high-stress situations involving problem diagnosis and client relationship management.
Lastly, ensure quick and efficient resolution of any problems.
