Remote IT Jobs UK: SC Cleared Service Transition Manager.
This role is remote. The salary for this role is £45-50K.
The working hours are 9.00 to 17.30, with a 1 hour lunch. This role is 37.5 Hrs per week.
The Service Transition Manager is responsible for the coordination and assurance of the development of the service management and delivery solution to support the delivery of new and changed services. The role will align with the Operational requirements developed by the head of Operations. You will work closely with the account-specific Programme and Project Managers during the delivery phase of the solution.
Take a lead in the coordination of the Operational Readiness Review criteria for any specific account that may be assigned.
The role will support other Onboarding Managers and Service architects. This is in the definition and management of interfaces.
The role will be instrumental in fostering and maintaining good working relationships, between the Service Operations supporting the services, the delivery teams, and the customer.
Produce or support the production of the Operation Readiness review requirements. Ensure that the authorised documents provide sufficient detail to enable Service Operations to impact the associated RFC.
Liaise with programme management, service line, and the customer. This is to assure the delivery of quality service products is supportable.
Together with the Service Lines, act on feedback received from support teams concerning changes required for live operation.
Plan for Service Operations, tooling, skills, staffing, and volumes.
Create and maintain ORR criteria to support solution development.
Strong customer management and interpersonal skills.
Have an in-depth knowledge of the service design area.
The ability to align to a pragmatic and thorough design. Take into account any conflicting priorities of the account, internal operations, and customer.
The ability to hold a large and diverse operations team to a single agreed approach. This is to ensure that there are no gaps between the various components.
Detailed knowledge of service delivery concepts and techniques.
A strong operational understanding of service supply chains.
Experience in service delivery and operational support for major IT systems.
The ability to coordinate coherent, concise, and readable criteria prior to acceptance into operational service.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
Firstly, have Client facing skills and senior level discussion. Have the ability to communicate ideas and thoughts to Senior Executives.
Detailed knowledge of service delivery concepts and techniques. Have a strong operational understanding of service supply chains.
Experience in service Onboarding for major IT systems.
Self-motivating, objective setting, and strong leadership skills.
Have the ability to negotiate, and bring consensus.
Previous experience in running workshops.
Team development and motivational skills.
Written communications – clear technical writing and presentation.
Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
ITIL version 3.
Experience in Service Design.
