Senior Business Development Manager
Senior Business Development Manager – Software House, IT sales, App, Data Management.
This is a permanent role with a salary of £55,000 to £60,000 DOE plus Uncapped OTE. There is also a £450 car allowance per month plus Benefits. This role is hybrid with 1 day per week in Luton.
We are seeking a highly-skilled, ambitious, and driven B2B New Business Development Manager to enable their ambitious growth plans. This role will suit a sales hunter profile.
The company provides a range of software solutions. They cover areas such as data management and pipelines, cross platform apps, and next generation business applications. They have certified partner status with Amazon, Microsoft, and ISO 27001.
You will be responsible for growing new business sales and adding new customer logos. You will
open new markets for the company’s solutions and services. With a primary geographic focus in the UK, and across Europe, the role may include driving business in the US for the right candidate.

Quick learner, and skilled negotiator with commercial acumen and experience in managing complex customer requirements and customer expectation management.
Experience of writing detailed technical proposals and tender bids.
Be self-motivated, methodical, diligent, and a self-starter.
Focus on delivering results, work well alone and be a good team player.
Have experience working with service delivery teams in different geographies around the world.
Experience in selling solutions created on AWS Data engineering technologies, and Microsoft application development platforms. Also, open-source front end and back end technologies for the web and mobile.
Experience in the running of exhibitions, events, webinars, and conferences for promotional activity.
Firstly, proven track record of selling software and data engineering solutions and services to C level executives.
Must have an in-depth knowledge and experience in the sales process, from lead generation, and relationship building to closing deals.
Proven track record of selling six figure solutions.
Experience in delivering new customer acquisition, and revenue generation success in B2B sales.
Proven experience in tender bidding. For example, writing, pitching, presenting, and working with internal teams to win tenders.
The role demands a sales manager with a sharp mind and the ability to coach, advise, and motivate team members. This is to create and maintain a high performance sales force.
Acquire new customers, generate sales, and achieve sales targets and business objectives.
Setting sales goals, analysing sales performance data, and projecting future performance.
Research and identify new market opportunities for company solutions and expand brand reach.
Generate, nurture and close new customer opportunities.
Plan and implement results driven lead generation and sales growth strategy.
Deliver sales revenue, profit, market, and brand expansion targets. Manage month end, quarter end and year end closing processes.
Expand business within UK, Europe, and US.
Prepare detailed technical proposals, and tender bids and manage the bid process.
Effectively manage the new customer transition to solutions delivery / account management teams.
Follow up on all sales enquiries and customer queries in a timely way.
Manage all sales activities using the company CRM and provide regular reporting.
Work with marketing to provide market and customer insights. Help with marketing activities to ensure high impact for inbound sales activity.
Work with technical solutions to provide the best solutions for each new customer. Help with various account management and growth activities to ensure long term customer success.
Work with accounts to ensure timely payment collection from customers. Help with various credit control and accounts activities in relation to customers.
Continuously develop self-leadership, hiring, and training skills for new sales members with HR ensuring the sales team is consistently meeting sales and revenue targets.
To be able to plan, manage and run exhibition stands and webinars.
A Master’s in Business Administration is preferred.
7+ years in sales hunter role within the technology industry selling to C level.
Proven sales track record in delivering on sales targets.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team working skills.
Superb leadership ability.
Good organisation skills.
Be able to travel nationally or internationally.
