GTS has an exciting job opportunity for a Senior Java Developer to join a well-established organisation in Poland on an initial 6-month contract.
Firstly, you will have End2End Responsibility for our DevOps function and will play a key role in developing and maintaining its culture for excellence.
Secondly, you will improve scalability, service reliability, capacity, and as a result, performance.
Furthermore, you will design, deploy and administer highly available platform services, as well as the required DevOps tools.
Design automated monitoring and alerting, which will be key to DevOps.
Importantly, you will coordinate stakeholders for day to day running of the business playing a key role in changing the business operational topics.
Finally, you will be responsible for application ownership.
Firstly, we prefer 7+ years of Java experience.
JDK 11+.
Version control tool – GIT and Build tool – Maven, Jenkins.
Working experience in Dockers/Podman.
Messaging framework – Kafka.
Also, implementing asynchronous communications using Kafka messaging.
Working experience in Elastic Search.
Database concepts (stored procedures and queries) – NoSQL, New SQL (Key Value Pair).
Experience with Unit test cases frameworks.
Should have client interaction experience to discuss requirements.
Experience with converting requirements to high-level design.
Capable of working independently.
Worked in Agile methodology.
Also, adopt Pair programming.
Finally, excellent communication skills in English (Speak and Write).
