GTS’s new Senior Solutions Architect role

Senior Solutions Architect hybrid role. This role is 3 days office 2 from home, in London or Peterborough offices.
This is a permanent role, with a salary of £75,000 to £90,000.

This is a rare opportunity to provide governance and lead technology transformation within a global environment.

Key activities are:

Firstly, drive the company wide technology transformation initiative.
Be accountable for technical leadership and advice. This is for multiple projects. Ensure that solutions
are aligned with best practices and business needs.
Also, you will be a senior member of the architecture review board. This means you will define, document, and provide governance to projects.
Proactively elevate and reduce risks within the internal IT to improve the platform and its capabilities.
Finally, create architectures, strategies, policies, roadmaps, and patterns. These need to support the business in delivering value.

Knowledge and experience:

Essential:

Firstly, experience as a Solution Architect responsible for the entire delivery lifecycle.
Be able to engage with stakeholders and manage relationships.
Also, enterprise software solutions involving COTS and other in-house products.
Domain skills with WMS, ERP, CRM, PSA, or CPQ platforms.
Have skills within DevOps, IAC as well as Kubernetes based platforms on Azure.
Experience with modern data integration, governance &amp, and reporting platforms.
Finally, strong skills in applying Zero-Trust security principles.

Desirable:

Firstly, TOGAF skills or similar Enterprise Architecture.
Have experience with Hybrid Cloud network design and security.
Lead technical governance through the Architecture Review Board process.
Have project or Programme Management experience.
Also, skills and experience within Agile frameworks. For example, Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and LeSS.
Experience in overseeing and engaging with 3rd party vendors.
Computing related Degree or Education.
Finally, hold industry recognised expert level technical qualifications.

Have a positive attitude that encourages others to make good decisions.
Also, have good communication and a logical mind.
Have excellent quality verbal and written skills that project credibility.
Ability to work well under pressure.
Finally, be willing to travel to UK-based sites. Also, travel to international sites on an infrequent basis.
