Firstly, you will be responsible for the revenue generation of new sales from non-existing customers in UK, through the selling of Company products and services in line with the Company’s sales and marketing strategy and procedures.

A SNAPSHOT OF WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Firstly, targeting and closing new customer opportunities in focused market space.
Crucially, achieving revenue targets from assigned territory or set of accounts.
Differentiating the business in ITSM market through personal experience and the application of sales technique/process guidance given by sales leadership.
Providing an excellent level of service to customers through the sales cycle and overseeing the transition of these customers to recognition of value via solution delivery.
Recording all activity on the company CRM system and ensuring it is always up to date.
Furthermore, be proactively involved in all sales business from non-existing customers (from initial contact to closure (new customer on board).
Proactively identify target accounts in assigned territory using market data and industry intelligence.
Work with other sales resources to gain access to target accounts and identify sales opportunities.
Working with solution consulting resources builds an understanding of customer pain points, requirements and potential value that can be delivered.

Also, responsibility for the completion of pre-sales tender documents (i.e. PQQs, ITTs, RFPs, etc.).
Coordinate resources to allow the customer to evaluate solutions through customer/business relevant assist demonstrations and positioning of other offerings.
Provide timely forecasts of revenues using the CRM tool, using this to maintain and update all customer/prospective customer information and sales activities.
Use Account and Opportunity Management processes to ensure that all avenues and activities are being covered to move the deal to closure.
Additionally, report to VP of Sales providing relevant information relating to deal progress that can be presented up the management chain.
Represent the company in marketplace meetings with customers and support revenue generating marketing initiatives and campaigns to build pipelines.
Crucially, collaborate with other sales team members to be innovative in selling approach.
Liaise with colleagues to keep up to date and be generally aware of the developments and procedures being worked on within all departments of the Company.
Report and review sales activities on a regular basis with the VP of Sales.
Lastly, responsibility for diary entries, making appointments, arranging demonstrations, attendance at events, and organising travel arrangements.

This is not an exhaustive list, and will be subject to review on a regular basis, to meet the needs of this new and developing role.

IDEALLY, WE ARE LOOKING FOR THE BELOW KEY SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND ATTRIBUTES

Firstly, a proven track record in Enterprise-class software applications or success working in an IT-focused software company.
Knowledge of the ITSM market and the needs of customers.
Sales Process understanding having used MEDDIC, SCOTSMAN, SPIN, TAS, Miller Heiman, Getting to YES or similar best-practice methods Technical and solution architecture understanding.
Solution selling experience including delivering revenues from license and services combined offerings. Understanding of ISO/COBIT and other IT best practice concepts.
Ability to discuss complex software concepts and product capabilities in a business-relevant manner.
Competence in developing and delivering presentations to large and diverse audiences including C-level. Also, ITIL® Qualified to Foundation level.
Skilled in negotiation techniques and commercial understanding of contractual considerations of a software vendor Degree level educated.
Strong customer interaction skills to be credible as well as trusted in the sales cycle.
Well organised, self-motivated, and driven by success both personally and for the company, as well as the ability to work on own initiative to deadlines without constant supervision.
Expert communicator, with extremely well-developed skills in listening, building rapport, presenting, and producing written communications.
Ability to develop a strong business case and quality proposal to convince customers to purchase.
Finally, a positive and results-oriented approach to selling.

Also, travel is crucial to this role.

Customers are located throughout UK, therefore this position will require travel within UK.
