Stevenage Jobs, Contract Deployment engineer

GTS’s Stevenage jobs contract role for a SC Cleared Deployment Engineer. 5 month contract but this may be extended.  This is a site-based contract role and is inside IR35. As a result, this role is suited to umbrella contractors only.

A valid SC Clearance is needed for the position.

A SNAPSHOT OF WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Firstly, provide support for installing and configuring IT assets
Secondly, support and set up of IT assets including POS, Thin clients, desktops, laptops, printers, Label printers, Scanners, and IT peripherals
Also, co-ordinate with Service Desk, Operations Managers and Tower Leads for issue resolution and service requests
Finally, maintain and report hardware asset stock

KEY SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES:

Firstly, Experience in supporting mobile devices (iPads, iPhones, etc.) and MDM
Secondly, knowledge of Networking, Wi-Fi, VPN, and Links
Working experience in Microsoft technologies Windows 7 & 10 and O365, MS Teams
Also, Experience in supporting performance and client-related issues resolutions
Must have a good understanding of Asset management
Good Organisation skills
Great attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
needs to be self-motivated, drvien and work under pressure.
Flexible and positive attitude to the demands of the job.
