This role is for a Technical Team Lead. The rate is between €35,000 to €40,000. This job is based in Newbridge, Ireland but travel is needed. We are currently looking for a highly customer-focused and enthusiastic Technical Team Lead, to work within Digital Site Services for our client.

Digital Site Services is the term given to the on-site engineers who handle Level 2 tickets for desktop and infrastructure support.

You would be responsible for a small team of engineers based in Grangecastle, Newbridge, and Dublin City Centre, working closely with the SDMs.

The role is primarily based within Newbridge. Also, there will be frequent travel to Grangecastle and Dublin City Centre. Also, some occasional travel to other sites within Ireland to meet other teams or management.

Responsibilities include:

Firstly, handle escalations comfortably, and in a calm and professional manner.
Secondly, engage additional company Digital teams and resources as and when required.
Liaise with site engineering teams and external third parties for infrastructure and technology tasks related to Engineering and automation activities.
Ensure standards are maintained and support is aligned with operational support model.
Also, must maintain training.
Be compliant with local site policy and procedure.
Desktop and Infrastructure support, for example, switches, servers, patching, etc.
Analytical and Reporting experience. Have the ability to turn numbers into meaningful information.

Essential skills and qualifications:

Good technical knowledge and understanding of desktop and infrastructure support methodologies in an ITIL environment.
Excellent verbal, written, and documentation skills.
Strong appreciation of technology policy, process, and procedure development and implementation.
Previous experience managing support teams, or engineering projects.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Also, excellent multi-tasking abilities.
Excellent working knowledge of MS Windows 10 in a corporate environment.
Experience in supporting and troubleshooting MS office applications.
Scheduling and resource planning.
Ability to ensure internal company standards for productivity and staff utilisation are met.
People and Time Management.
Very strong interpersonal and communications skills.
Full Driving Licence and access to own vehicle.

Desired skills and qualifications:

Previous experience working in pharmaceutical production facilities.
Experience with medical equipment interfacing.
Experience working in industrial or lab environments.
Finally. working with high-ranking users and clients.
