If you are looking for asset management analyst jobs, we have a great contract role for Asset Management Analyst. This is based in Peterborough and offers hybrid with 2 days per week onsite and is on a 6-month rolling contract. 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Day Rate: Onside IR35: £160–£200 per day (DOE with Asset Management) The role is urgent, so having the ability to start ASAP would be advantageous.

The primary function of the role is to assist the Senior IT Asset Management Analyst with the operation of Asset Management function.

Key responsibilities:

Firstly, accurate data entry into the customer CMDB.

Secondly, generate and distribute various reports, including compliance reports on current assets and their status.

Likewise, attend customer meetings when required.

Also, understand and manage IT asset disposals.

Manage inventory of assets as they compare to the CMDB, including dependencies and attributes, making sure that installations, moves, and changes are correctly recorded in the centralised CMDB.

Support and implement policies, systems, processes, and standards related to how IT assets are managed, controlled, and protected on a daily and long-term basis.

Lastly, perform verification and audit to validate content and initiate corrective actions as required.

Qualifications:

Experience working with a Configuration Management Data Base (CMDB) and working with asset information.

Some knowledge of IT Service Management and how Asset Management interacts with the different functions.

Finally, good knowledge of MS Excel.

Essential attributes

Firstly, you must have good attention to detail.

Secondly, have the ability to work under pressure.

Also, be comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels.

Good MS Excel experience.

Excellent time management and personal organisational skills.

Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Able to work on their own initiative.

Security clearance:

It is advantageous if a candidate already holds security clearance – BPSS as a minimum or SC level. However, if there is no current clearance in place, they should be eligible and willing to go through the process. This will be mandatory to work on the contract.
