based in Chippenham. The salary is between £60,000 and £70,000 per annum, plus a competitive commission structure.

Role overview

MS Managed IT Services requires an experienced Commercial Manager to lead the Sales and Marketing function. This pivotal role will require an individual with a proven track record in consultative solutions sales within the managed IT services industry, particularly with expertise in Microsoft technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the sales team, achieving company sales targets, and driving strategic growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Firstly, lead and manage the sales function and team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to achieve sales targets and KPIs.
Secondly, develop and execute effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
Furthermore, cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understand their business needs, and provide tailored solutions.
Also, drive new business development efforts, including lead generation and proposal development.
Collaborate with internal teams to improve systems and processes, enhancing operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Likewise, oversee contract management, including supplier negotiations.
Management of key third-party marketing services.
Play a key role in the company’s sales and marketing strategy development.
contributing insights to product and service enhancements.
Act as a member of the senior leadership team, reporting directly to the Managing Director and providing strategic input to business decisions.
Identify opportunities for progression and development within the sales and marketing team, driving continuous improvement and talent development initiatives.

Requirements:

Firstly, proven experience in consultative solutions sales within a Microsoft-centric managed IT services environment.
Secondly, they must have strong leadership and management skills and a demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire teams.
Also, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with a focus on driving profitable outcomes.
Experience in developing and executing sales and marketing plans, with a track record of achieving and exceeding targets.
Ability to work collaboratively across departments to drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
A proven track record of contributing to business growth and development, with a focus on driving innovation and continuous improvement.
Flexible and adaptable with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
