This is a fully remote role, however, it may require some visits to the office in Didcot. The salary is between £45,000 and £50,000. The hours are standard office hours.
Firstly, you must have 3+ years of Oracle PLSQL experience in database development and design.
Secondly, logical and analytical problem-solving skills
Furthermore, you must be customer service focused, with the ability to communicate complex issues in clear and concise language to our clients.
Also, 1+ years of Microsoft.Net development experience in VB.NET or C#, web services, and XML.
Likewise, good knowledge and understanding of ERP, accounts receivable, or credit management
Ability to clearly document processes and technical subject manner and ability to liaise with technical and business colleagues
Lastly, be confident and have a professional telephone manner.
As a Technical Support Consultant, you will be working within our support and development environment, working closely with our Operations Director.
You will be responding to incoming emails and calls and investigating and resolving reported issues using your application and database skills.
Developing new procedures and packages in PLSQL to enhance our customers usage experience
You will work closely with our Product Director to translate new product requirements into technical specifications for our development team.
You may be required to undertake small development changes using your Microsoft.NET skills.
The client is a UK-based developer of specialist dispute management and cash collection software. They have been successfully implementing systems for over 24 years and have delivered significant benefits for our portfolio of clients, which includes many blue-chip household names.
Our core software is developed in Appeon PowerBuilder and Microsoft.NET and runs on an Oracle or Tibero database.
