Are you an experienced IT Support Engineer or Field Service Engineer looking to step into a dynamic, client-facing role? We’re hiring a Desktop / Network Field Engineer to deliver high-quality technical support and networking solutions to clients across Ireland.

This is a field-based role ideal for professionals with a strong background in desktop support, network troubleshooting, and hardware/software installation, who are confident working independently and enjoy travel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site IT support across Ireland, including desktop and network troubleshooting.

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware, Windows operating systems, printers, and networking equipment.

• Install, configure, and maintain PCs, servers, switches, routers, and related IT infrastructure.

• Deliver excellent customer service and act as the face of the company at client sites.

• Maintain accurate service records using Autotask or similar ticketing systems.

• Participate in a 1-in-4 week on-call support rota.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT support, desktop support, or field service engineering.

• Strong technical knowledge of:

  • Microsoft Windows 10/11, Windows Server

  • LAN/WAN networking, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS

  • Switches, routers, firewalls (preferably Cisco or Ubiquiti)

• Experience working with remote support tools and ticketing systems.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• Full, clean Irish driving licence (essential).
