If you are looking for Enterprise Architect jobs, we have an exciting opportunity for an Enterprise Architect to join large blue-chip organisation – Specialising in IT Managed Services.
The Enterprise Architect contract role offers Hybrid working. 2 days per week office or as required whatever is greater on any given week . Offices are in London or Peterborough
The day rate is £500 – £600 a day
Contract role is Inside IR35 – this is only suitable for Umbrella contract!
You will be responsible for ensuring that clients Business Strategy uses effective Technology System Architecture to achieve its goals. Driving and facilitating technology alignment to an Enterprise wide standard and Business Strategy across all departments and International Offices. Managing the Product / Project / Programme pipeline associated with the Enterprise Architecture Review Board.
Firstly, experience in executive leadership and advisory roles
Secondly, strong leadership skills with exceptional soft and interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.
Also, experience defining and delivering enterprise transformation roadmaps.
Delivered enterprise scale solutions involving COTS software products alongside in-house solutions.
Domain experience with more than one of Ecommerce, WMS, ERP, CRM, PSA, or CPQ platforms.
Likewise, experience in overseeing systems delivery engagements with external partners.
Knowledge of all components of enterprise architecture, business and IT principles and processes.
Project / Programme Management experience.
Ten+ years’ experience in technology delivery roles including business, information, solution or technical architecture, application development, middleware, information analysis, database management.
Firstly, previous experience in a channel/reseller business
Secondly, experience with Hybrid Cloud enterprise landscapes
Knowledge of business ecosystems, technology service delivery models (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS), service-oriented architectures, APIs, open data, microservices, event-driven IT, DevOps, IaC, containerisation and modern data platforms.
Strong understanding of the application of Zero-Trust security principles.
Lastly, familiarity and experience with Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, LeSS.
Facilitate alignment between business and IT and across the IT landscape.
Engage business and IT stakeholders, building and maintaining trusted relationships.
Drive, and guide the business and technology transformation initiatives to effectively meet their goals.
Be accountable for architectural leadership across the portfolio of projects and ensure that solutions are aligned to best practices and business objectives.
Responsible for architectural governance through guidance and processes.
Provide thought leadership on trends and disruptions, identifying initiatives, improvements and risks which support our target outcomes.
Create architectures, strategies, policies, roadmaps, and patterns that support the delivery of business value.
