Field Service Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to join a blue-chip company. This is a permanent role and is located in the Warrington area. As this is a field / mobile role, a full UK driving licence is essential, and a company van will be supplied.
This role is based in Warrington, but travelling to various customer sites is needed. The hours cover 7.5-hour weekday shifts between the hours of 08:00 and 20:00, and the pre-scheduled weekend rota covers between 08:00 and 16:00.
Candidates must be willing and suitable to go through a BPSS.

The key responsibilities are:

Firstly, device and connectivity troubleshooting
Secondly, device imaging, configuring, swap outs. connectivity cabling and Wi-Fi
Also, installs, moves, decommissions
Furthermore, stock control and asset management
Proactive maintenance, user familiarisation and guidance
Cable management
Smart hands and eyes
Lastly, liaison with other support teams
Essential Skills/Experience:

Firstly, experience in a similar role
Secondly, good understanding of point of Sale devices
Likewise, familiarity with Cielo and Microsoft tablets, Lenovo / Dell    Also, Desktops and Laptops, KVM switches, Routers
Working knowledge of Windows operating system and associated technologies
Knowledge of peripherals and their maintenance – printers, scanners
Be SLA focused and familiar with call management products
Familiarity with support procedures, scripts, and processes
Proven troubleshooting skills
Awareness of Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance would be desirable
Ability to gain base level security clearance – BPSS
Valid UK Driver’s License – Vehicle supplied
