We have an exciting IT Contract for a Desktop Support Engineer. 3 month contract but this contract may be extended.
This role is based in London – WC1X . There is the flexibility to work in 2 other locations in SE1 & SW1.
The day rate is up to £140 per day, this role is inside IR35 and is only suitable for umbrella contractors
The working days and hours are full time Monday to Friday, from 9am to 5pm. DBS check is needed for this role.

Contract role overview

Working as a Desktop Support Engineer, you will provide and maintain service continuity for the client’s desktop technology and resolve any technical issues that may occur, all within contractual agreements.
We are looking for people who are passionate about technology and increasing their existing knowledge, whilst delivering exceptional customer service.

Overview of role and skills needed

Firstly, must have strong interpersonal\comms skills. This is a customer facing environment & face to face engagement with end users via IT Bar\Tech Hub is a key part of the role
Secondly, we are looking for a positive and outgoing approach
Windows 10 troubleshooting & deployment
Also, laptop hardware breakfix
Application breakfix especially Microsoft Office & Teams
Likewise, have a experience supporting Macbooks desirable
basic troubleshooting re network connectivity
Ensuring required business expectations & SLAs are met by timely task resolution & high standard of ticket management through ServiceNow ticketing system
Take ownership to resolve problems & also to work
Also, strong verbal and written communication skills
Furthermore, have the ability to apply intermediate level of subject matter knowledge
Works on problems/projects of moderately medium-complex scope
Exercises independent judgment within defined practices and procedures
Evaluates unique circumstances and makes recommendations.

Most importantly you will need

Firstly, 2-3 years of experience
Secondly, be able to provide disposal services
Also, must be able to independently problem solve
Lastly, provide feedback on new technical processes to help drive efficiency
