Great role for a Desktop Support Engineer to join a prestigious client in central London on a full- time basis. This role is a permanent role, working days are from Monday through to Friday. The working hours are either 07:30am to 16:00pm or 10:00am to 18:30pm. The salary is £37,120 and is available for an immediate start.

As a Desktop Support Engineer, you will be:
Firstly, provide on-site desktop support for technical infrastructure for end users
Secondly, advise and assist users to solve problems related to software, hardware, networks and peripherals
Assist VIP’s and their respective teams as needed.
Also, deal directly with clients in a friendly and highly confident manner
Maintain good working relationships with key stakeholders and support teams

Needed for this Desktop Support Engineer role:

Firstly, knowledge of Microsoft windows operating systems and Mac OS platforms
Secondly, VIP Support background
Knowledge and experience with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive, Intune etc)
Experience in Windows imaging techniques (Network & Local)
Microsoft Active Directory & Azure Active Directory knowledge
Need to be able to use remote desktop support tools
Also, must understand desktop and printer configurations
Furthermore, have good interpersonal & communication skills
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
Experience and technical knowledge of IT, PC’s / peripherals and their architecture
Break fix, IMACs, Incidents, Projects
Experience with Ticket Management
Comfortable with liaising and working alongside 3rd Parties
Lastly, display flexibility and the ability to manage your day effectively

Desirable skills / qualifications:
Firstly, ITIL Foundation
Also, have a formal Apple product training
