The position is responsible for the local delivery and support of IT systems as part of the centrally managed IT services. This will include following IT changes, incidents, and requests. The position is also responsible for ensuring all local activities requiring IT support are communicated in a timely manner to the supporting central IT teams. The key support activities will include, but are not limited to, desktop, server, hosting, and network support activities.

Job Description / Competencies:

Firstly, manage IT servers, network devices, workstations, desktops, laptops, and related IT equipment in alignment with the global IT infrastructure.

Secondly, Smarthands provides support for other IT departments (network, hosting, etc.).

Also, installation and configuration of IT workstations and devices

Furthermore, installation, integration and configuration of client operating systems / standard and custom software

Likewise, ticket processing as part of 2nd level support

Recording and documentation of IT support cases in the ticket system

Creation of checklists and documentation

Support of production-critical systems (2nd level – hardware, operating system)

local 24/7 Support

Responsible for the IT operations of the site in line with Global IT Infrastructure governance and IT Infrastructure strategy

Local coordination and support of global IT Projects across multiple IT Departments

Link between local business and IT departments

Lastly, contact point for local users complaints & requirements
