If you are looking for IT contract jobs in Stonehouse. We have a great role for a Deskside Support Engineer III. This role is based onsite in Stonehouse, Gloucester. The contract term is 2-months but this may be extended. The rate is GBP19 – GBP20 per hour

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, between the hours of 07:30 – 17:00.

As a Desktop Support Engineer your responsibilities will include:

Firstly, Incident management & resolution
Secondly, IMACDs – Installations, Moves, Additions, Changes and Deletions
Furthermore, provide onsite Hardware Break/Fix support (Dell) and manage OEM warranty provider
Give remote support to satellite sites
Also, act as Smart hands and eyes
Provide mobile device support
Maintain and update existing network infrastructure
Peripheral support
Asset, Stock and Loaner equipment management
Coordinate all Multi-Function Device (MFD) and network printer installs
Instruct customers in the operation and maintenance of systems/equipment
Provide Project services as and when required
Lastly, act as a central point of contact for the customer

What we’re looking for:

Firstly, proven trouble shooting skills
Secondly, previous experience in a similar role
Support knowledge across Windows 10, O365, AD and SCCM
Knowledge of administering Windows Share\File permissions
Experience in mobile connectivity (E.g., Android/iPhone)
Likewise, good time management and organisational skills
Also, be able to follow detailed instructions
Excellent communicator both face-to-face & over the phone
Lastly, must be able to deal productively with a high workload with minimal supervision
Willingness to travel

ITIL Certification / Awareness
