If you are looking for an office administrator job, we have a great role for an Office Administrator and Receptionist. This position is located in Stockbridge, Hampshire (commutable from Salisbury, Romsey, Andover, Basingstoke, and Winchester). The Salary: £24,000 – £28,000 per annum

The working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM, with participation in extended hours telephone service on rotation.

Position Overview

Our client is looking for a motivated and organised Office Administrator and Receptionist to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting daily office operations, managing reception duties, and ensuring that administrative tasks are completed efficiently. You will be the first point of contact for visitors and incoming calls, helping to maintain a positive and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

First, manage all office administration tasks, including data entry, record keeping, and document preparation.

Second, answer and handle incoming calls, emails, and greet visitors with a professional and friendly demeanour.

Likewise, schedule calls, meetings, appointments, and events, including arranging travel and accommodation if required.

Also, support the onboarding process for new customers, ensuring all necessary documentation is prepared.

Assist in preparing reports and maintaining organised records.

Lastly, administer and oversee the smooth running of the reception area.

Skills and Qualifications:

First, you must have office administration experience.

Likewise, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Furthermore, have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage communications effectively.

Excellent telephone manner and clear spoken English.

Also, have the ability to multitask and stay organised in a busy environment.

Proactive attitude with attention to detail.

Full, clean driving license.

Preferred Experience:

Experience using Asana project management software is a plus.

Prior reception experience is advantageous.
