If you are looking at payroll clerk jobs, we have a great contract role.

This position is located in Lambeth, London. The hours are standard office hours, and the number of hours is 35 hours a week. The day rate is £220.

This role is inside IR35 and is only suited to umbrella contractors.

GTS has an exciting opportunity for a payroll clerk to join our client on an initial 3-month contract in London.

To ensure the timely, efficient, and effective delivery of the payroll service data file transmission process that meets the needs of internal and external customers and that meets the business needs, priorities, and objectives of the organisation.

Key task examples.

Firstly, produce monthly employer pension reporting.

Likewise, LGPS I-Connect and the LPFA employer portal.

Also, teachers’ pensions (MDC/MCR and end-of-year certificates.

NHSPS electronic staff records. Manage and implement year-end and start-of-year payroll processes;

Supplementary payrolls.

Pay awards and pay increments.

Furthermore, P60, P6, and P9 uploads.

Tax code uplift and payroll new financial year period dates.

Voluntary deductions create new rates (e.g., Unison).

Pension auto-enrolment thresholds.

Pensions banding (LGPS, TP, NHSPS)

EOY Pension returns

To manage and ensure the production and distribution to employees/ers of bulk employee/er information, e.g.:

Firstly, payslips.

Secondly, P60’s.

Also, chargeability Reports.

Lastly, third Party Payments Reports.
