If you are looking for sales support jobs, we have a great contract role for a Sales Support executive. This role is located in London or Manchester. The working hours are 9-5 Monday to Friday, with a 1 hour lunch break.
The initial contract is for 3 months, with potential extensions. The hourly rate is £16–£18 and is inside IR35; as a result, it is only suited to through umbrella contractors. The role offers hybrid working: 3 days onsite and 2 days remotely
The role is responsible for the day-to-day support and maintenance of customer accounts held by the Account Director.
This includes handling customer engagements as defined by the Account Director in order to maximise sales capacity and customer satisfaction.
Within the role, you will liaise with various stakeholders, including internal departments, vendors, and suppliers, as well as directly with customers.
Quotations on both standard and non-standard products
Placing orders via our sales tools
Managing Outlook mailboxes, both co-worker and customer-specific
Dealing with initial customer queries or issues
Product returns
Product information, including manufacturer data sheets and specification checking
Reporting, including backorders and ad-hoc customer requirements
Changes to products and prices within ServiceTrack catalogues
Work with key vendors and partners as required to develop opportunities and relationships with existing clients.
Liaise with internal departments, including customer services, credit, and purchasing.
Develop and maintain portfolio product knowledge as defined by the Account Director.
Understand vendor promotions and special bid processes.
Understand the deal registration process.
Assist with holiday cover and training of co-workers.
PC literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook, Web Browser) with fast and accurate keyboard skills, able to create and apply formulas
Understanding the importance of accurate reporting
Understanding of the IT industry sales channel
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Use of internal tools for account management and order processing (Microsoft Navision, CRM)
Experience working in a commercial environment is preferred.
Previous administration experience in a similar role is preferred.
Industry product and service knowledge is preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to build a rapport with customers, partners, and internal co-workers
