If you are looking for SCCM engineer jobs, GTS has some great roles. This one is for a permanent SCCM engineer in Dublin. This role will join a blue-chip organisation. The hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The salary is up to $63,500.

Role overview

Firstly, the SCCM Engineer will take the technical lead in ensuring that the team installs, manages, controls, deploys, and maintains the desktop infrastructure systems and applications that meet the airport’s operational needs and service levels.

Secondly, act as a level 2 escalation point for the Microsoft Configuration Manager for the Service Desk.

Application packaging as and when required (note that application packaging will be performed using Microsoft Configuration Manager native capability only—MSI or script installer [exe]).

Client security patch deployments and compliance reporting OSD (Operating System Deployment) task sequences include configuration and troubleshooting.

Perform level-1 administrative activities with inTune, e.g., troubleshoot end user mobile device enrollment issues, remote wipe of devices, mobile device health check, reporting.

Detailed tracking and asset management

Needed for this role:

Firstly, 3-5 years of experience with desktop administration and management within a large and complex organisation.

Second, 3–4 years of experience working with application packaging and delivery in both a Windows and MacOS environment.

Also, 3-5 years of experience taking a technical lead on designing and leading an automated operating system and desktop application deployment.

Furthermore, we are looking for 3-5 years of experience in scripting, automation, SCCM, group policy, endpoint protection, and patching.

Microsoft Certifications: Microsoft 365 Certified Administrator, SCCM/MD-102, and pre-requirements.

Knowledge of emerging trends with respect to application packing, endpoint management solutions, and software packaging tools.

3-5 years of experience using Intune and other endpoint management tools to deliver a seamless desktop user experience.

Must be self-motivated with a willingness to learn and adapt to any new change or situation in a dynamic project environment.

Understanding of service management best practices frameworks such as ITILV

Finally, be able to communicate across functions.
