About the Role

We are hiring  Mechanical & Electrical Site Support Engineer to support mechanical and electrical installation, remediation, inspections, and testing of security screening systems at Dublin Airport. This role is ideal for engineers with experience in aviation security systems, X-ray screening equipment, and airport security infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and maintain security screening systems, including X-ray scanners and detection equipment.
• Perform mechanical and electrical installations to support airport security lanes.
• Conduct system remediation and repairs on previously installed security equipment.
• Carry out testing, inspections, and compliance checks to meet regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with technical leads and aviation security teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience as a Security Systems Engineer, Field Service Engineer, or Installation Engineer within airport security, access control, or surveillance systems.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems used in security infrastructure.
• Experience with X-ray screening equipment, baggage scanners, or checkpoint security systems.
• Must be able to pass airside security clearance checks.
  • Applicants must have 5 years of continuous work history in Ireland, with no employment gaps exceeding one month.
• Ability to obtain or already hold an airport security pass (preferred).
• Familiarity with aviation security protocols, safety regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills
