We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Service Desk Analyst to join a well-established company in Bristol on a permanent basis. This role offers hybrid working.

Experience: 4 years in a similar role (MSP Experience Highly Desirable), driving license, and own vehicle

Salary: £30,000 p.a. + out-of-hours allowance and benefits

Working Hours: 37.5 hours between 7:30 and 22:00 (Monday to Friday plus on call)

Certifications: ITIL Foundation, Microsoft (Desirable)

Key responsibilities:

Firstly, provide remote technical support with occasional customer visits.

Secondly, provide assistance by phone, email, and/or using a ticket management system.

Likewise, update the internal knowledgebase with issue resolution details.

Lastly, mentor and assist junior team members.

Skills and experience

Most importantly, you must have good communication, documentation, and customer service skills.

Furthermore, experience in supporting:

Microsoft server operating systems, Microsoft Exchange, and Microsoft Active Directory.

Also, VMware and/or Microsoft Hyper-V (VMware preferred) and Microsoft Office 365

Likewise, Veeam Backup and Replication and Microsoft Windows Desktop Operating Systems.

Also, experience working in a busy MSP environment and configuring and supporting network devices such as firewalls and switches

Finally, a good understanding of the principles of the ITIL Framework

We are looking for technologies and experience in:

First, experience working with Cloud Backup software
Microsoft Remote Desktop Services
Cloud computing and virtualisation technology and Cloud Security
Also, Firewalls and SANs
Likewise, server hardware and switches
Office 365 Migrations and Scripting
VMWare or Hyper V and Microsoft Active Directory
Lastly, knowledge of iOS and Android devices
