If you are looking for software tester jobs, we have a great role for Software Tester-VM’s API in Ashford, Middlesex. This is a permanent position and offers hybrid working three days per week on site in Ashford, Middlesex. The salary is between £40,000 and £45,000.

This client builds leading freight software products which delivers a B2B and B2G connectivity solution.

They are currently building a new web-based front-end (greenfield development) alongside our flagship product. This is an exciting time for the business, the successful applicant will be working with cutting edge technologies on all projects. As a company, we’re expanding our QA team so that we can continue building high quality software.

Experience needed for this position

Firstly, must have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
Secondly,  be a good team player ; you will be expected to fit in with the team, and to learn and share with others.
Likewise, have a good good attention to detail and good problem analysis.
Also, you must also be enthusiastic and be willing to accept new challenges.
Be familiar with Windows, Windows applications and Microsoft Office products.
Furthermore, have previously worked within a team that follows agile practices and principles.
ISTQB/ISEB Certified Tester or Qualifications or equivalent.
Finally, have proven experience testing software within a team and of creating and maintaining test documentation and artifacts.

Candidates with the following will have an advantage:

Firstly, Knowledge of completing customs declarations and/or a wider knowledge of freight forwarding.
Test automation experience with scripting knowledge.
Likewise, experience with Azure DevOps, Microsoft Test Manager and Eggplant.
Also, Experience with differing test environments / VM’s / API testing tools.
CI/CD and Testing web front ends.
API testing.
