GTS has an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager to join a well-established organisation in Southampton, on a permanent basis.
Working as an Account Manager you will have the ultimate responsibility for the performance of service delivery, as well as maximising profitability of assigned accounts. A key indicator for success is the level of customer satisfaction achieved.
Firstly, you will work with the organisation to maximise the use of company core services, as well as support the Virtual IT Director to define features of these services. You will also work with Customers to ensure a synergy between service requirements and the company’s core service portfolio.
To support this, you will support the Technical Pre-Sales Consultants to introduce new core services to meet customer requirements and demand. This may include recommending 3rd party partner services, where appropriate.
Secondly, you will develop a robust relationship with Customers and will be their first point of contact. Crucially, you will support them with the management of their Technology Roadmap. As a result, you will understand the Customer’s business, and as such, will offer solutions to meets their business goals.
Importantly, you will ensure that products and services are delivered in line with the service level agreement. To help achieve this, you will work with service desk and engineering teams to look at ways to improve service delivery.
To support this, you will conduct regular customer reviews, often on site, so to gauge levels of customer satisfaction. This will require the provision of customer service reports which will include achievement of SLAs as well as KPIs. Above all, you will implement a process of continuous improvement. A key consideration will be the ability to demonstrate value for money to the Customer.
Thirdly, you will be responsible for the profitability of assigned Customers. In addition to this, you will work with the Customer to Budget IT services, typically over 3 years.
Lastly, you will manage you own pipeline to achieve sales targets.
Minimum of 3 IT Account management experience, working in a complex IT service environment.
Ideally, this will be within a public sector/healthcare setting.
Proven customer relationship skills with the ability to provide a high level of customer service.
Strong commercial skills.
Excellent communicator across all levels (up yo C level).
A positive influencer who readily motivates and inspires others.
Ability to work independently.
Sales and delivery-focused.
Able to work to deadlines.
Self starter who uses knowledge and experience to progress and improve.
Strong problem solving skills as well as the ability to Analyse and understands contractual documentation and specifications.
Relevant IT/Management qualification at BTEC HNC or higher. Alternatively, equivalent industry experience.
Excellent knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and other office applications.
